Abstract Submission
1) The First Author will automatically be the Presenting Author and the corresponding author.
2) The presenting author must be one of co-authors of the submitted abstract.
3) There is no limit on how many abstracts can be submitted by a single presenting author.
4) Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the online abstract submission platform.

5) The presenting authors must ensure that all authors have given their consent to be listed as co-author on the submitted abstract.
6) The presenting authors must declare that the material in the presentation is original and that it will not be published or presented elsewhere before WGC2025.
7) Commercial texts promoting products will not be accepted.
8) The presenting authors must choose one theme and its sub-topic for each abstract
9) If the abstract is accepted, please be reminded that the Programme Committee will ultimately decide which session will be allocated to the abstract.
10) Submission of closely related abstracts from the same group is discouraged.
11) Splitting of a body of work into multiple abstracts is discouraged and consolidation into one abstract is preferred.
12) To ensure a wide diversity of approaches, profile and gender diversity as well as geographical balance are encouraged.
13) Submission and presentation of abstracts are subject to the principle of no duplication or plagiarism in publications. Breaching such rules will lead to rejection of submission or presentation at the World Gas Conference without refund of registration fee. Final decisions are made by the IGU Committee and National Organising Committee.
14) If identical abstracts are found to be submitted, only the abstract on the latest date of the submission will be considered for evaluation without prior notice.
15) The presenting authors are responsible for the accuracy of all contents of the abstract.
16) By submitting the abstract, the presenting authors confirm that the presented abstract meets the ethical guidelines for research and publication, including the legal requirements of the country in which the study was conducted.
